Practitioner of the Year Award

Everyone knows Respiratory Care Practitioners who possess special skills, who have that extra commitment to their patients, who motivate, inspire and lead other practitioners.

Here is the wonderful opportunity to recognize some of these special people in front of their peers at our annual state meeting.

We will be recognizing three individuals in different professional categories this year in a new approach to this award. The awards will be based upon nominations submitted by the NCSRC membership and final selection by the NCSRC Practitioner of the Year Committee. The categories for nomination will be:

Practitioner of the Year  -  Clinical

This award will provide peer recognition based upon nominations submitted by membership and final selection by the Practitioner of the Year Committee. This award will consist of recognition at the annual state meeting with the presentation of a plaque commemorating the award and
publishing the recipient's professional profile in the newsletter

Additionally, this award will include:
1.) Paid registration and lodging for the annual state meeting
2.) 1 Dinner

Eligible recipient's are: Active practicing Respiratory Care Practitioners who are NCSRC members, whose job involves direct patient care, and who have demonstrated special skills, commitment to their patients, the profession and the community.

Practitioner of the Year  -  Leadership

This award will provide peer recognition based upon nominations submitted by membership and final selection by the Practitioner of the Year Committee. This award will consist of recognition at the annual state meeting with the presentation of a plaque commemorating the award and
publishing the recipient's professional profile in the newsletter

Eligible recipient's are: Active practicing Respiratory Care managers or educators who are members of the NCSRC that demonstrate exceptional abilities to motivate, lead, and educate fellow RCPs, students and the medical community.

Physician Contribution Award

This award will provide recognition for an outstanding physician for contributions to our profession and the society throughout the year. This award will consist of recognition at the annual state meeting with the presentation of a plaque commemorating the award and publishing the recipient's professional profile in the newsletter.

Eligible recipients are: North Carolina Physicians who have demonstrated interest in and contributed positively to the profession of respiratory care, our state society or any of its interests.
